How Can It Be Detected That Follicles Are Healthy And Time Of Ovulation?

i recently had a transvaginal ultrasound because I was having cramping. It turned out to be nothing but the sonographer mentioned that my follicles look healthy and that I was about to ovulate. How did she see that and what does that imply about timing of ovulation?

Hello,

Depending on the size of the follicle in the ovary, we can come to know when they will ovulate, around 14-15 mm sized follicle is good. Also, the morphology of the follicle says about its health like, regular wall and blood flow etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
