Have Wet Cough And Fever. Taking Expectorant, Paracetamol, Steam Inhalation. Help

Hello Doctor,
I have severe cough from the past 3 days. The first day, i had fever too. But i had a paracetamol tablet at night and fever went away. I had been taking an expectorant syrup hoping that cough will subside. But it has not. I am having wet cough. I have been doing steam inhalation couple of times a days. The cough worsens at night.
Please help.

Regards,
Heera
