Have Excessive Skin Tags On Neck, Breasts, Arms. Cause?

I have excessive skin tabs/tags on my body - my neck, breasts and arms. My father an his siblings have the same issue. What could possibly be the cause: a lack of some nutrient in my diet as I age or what? Thanks for some clarity. I am anticipating going to a dermatologist as the tabs/tags are beginning to itch and become unsightly as they multiply.

Hi,
Your skin tags are possibly of genetic causes. The fact that your father and his siblings have supports this. So this could not be linked to lack of nutrients or something other than genetic. These skin tags are generally not harmful but could be associated with other genetic conditions. As anticipated, dermatological consultation is good and you should on with that.

Wish you good health
