Have Cough And Prescribed With Augmentin3. Done With Chest Xray. Suggest The Cure?
I have cough its productive.iconsulted doctor. he prescribed me augmentin.3 weeks now.but still same.so again I went to docter. chest x ray ordered.it shows bv markings are prominent.signs of bronchitis.i am 33 yr old women.i have only allergic polip.no other medical history.i m daily taking very less water only.pls give me good advise.nw docter ordered cefuroxime mucosolvent and prospan cough syrup.

1.smoking history
2.living near to industrial /r u a bird fancier ,have pets at home?
3.is any one at ur house having cough for more than 3 weeks?
4.family history of allergic disorders?
5.appetite?
6.weight loss?
7.bowel habit?
secondly you need to be evaluated for the exact cause.
causes of cough like cystic fibrosis,infectious,allergic/asthma,cardiac disorders,foreign body aspiration,carcinoma ......and so on
need to evaluate with some investigations and know the exact diagnosis without just giving the treatement like hitting an arrow in a dark room.
if it is allergic you need some anti histaminics too.and Lt inhibitors and so on
