Have Sjrogren S Syndrome, RA Factor. Swollen Feet. Help

My Mother has secondary Sjrogren's Syndrome with RA Factor and is experienceing extreme swelling in her feet. Moderate swelling in the hands... went to the emergency room, but they did not admit her, they said that because she was immune- compromised it would do more harm than good... they just sent her home with pain medication, and the swelling continues. She's very dainty, and twenty four hours later (now) she looks like she has a clubbed feet. Her toes don't touch the ground when standing (because her feet are so swollen.) please help!
