Getting Cystic Pimples Between Eyebrows. Drinking Green Tea, Applying Green Tea Extract On Face. Cause For Pimples?

Hi, I am getting cystic pimples between my eyebrows. I have recently started drinking two cups of green tea daily and since then I have developed pimples between my eyebrows. I have mild acne on my cheek and chin areas so I apply green tea extract on my face for that. Would drinking green cause these pimples? Or is it the caffeine it that might be affecting my liver??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears that the infection of the acne is spreading to the rest of the face and causing the cystic infection. The cause could be any thing including the spread.
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe erythromycin 500 mg BD for 10 days. and multivitamins one daily for one month. Thank you.
