As from the history you had Steven Johnson syndrome
in the year 1994. Steven Johnson syndrome occurs as a cross reaction to drugs or following infections.
Steven Johnson syndrome is known to cause dry eye
because of cicatrizing conjunctivitis
which causes damage to the conjunctival mucus secreting glands.
The main treatment of the condition is by artificial tear eye drops.
Since you also have sensitivity to light you need to be evaluated for different types of dry accordingly. Because not all types of dry eyes
require treatment from same type of artificial tear eye drops.
Hence I recommend to you to consult your ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
Thank you, Have a good day.
