Extremely Low BMI, Abnormal Physique. How Can I Look Healthy?

I'm a skinny guy but I HATE working out... I don't care to be built or muscular. Not a big deal. I WOULD like to have a NORMAL physique though... ie one that does not look like a skeleton. Bigger arms and fore arms are the biggest things that bug me. I look like Jack Skellington from Nightmare before Christmas. I would like a shirt to look decent on me. Not a T with two little twigs hanging out like a snowman. I'm 5'9 and around 120-125lbs about 10% body fat... Excercise I can do like swimming.... I'll take up running... I'd love to do like that Parkour stuff or something but I don't know any where they do that stuff. Heck but even jump rope is more fun than lifting weights. I never rock climbed but that sounds like it would be fun. I wanna know, can I do it if I eat healthy and a lot more and not have to lift weights? The thing is I like my body fat where it's at. No stomach sticking out and stuff... I do NOT want to look fat or chubby or over weight... But I would like to look "healthy" and not like I just walked out of a morgue.

well of all the odds you find in your body i think you have a good height and if your physique is the problem then i suggest you not to worry..you might have to concentrate on your diet...i suggest you add more of protein and carbohydrate rich diet for muscle bulk..food rich in poly unsaturated fats are good..consume dry fruits and dairy rich products..and along with this i advice you do body building exercises for atleast an hour in a day..I hope this was needful thankyou

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The first thing to do MUST be to see an internist (medical doctor). Have a physical examination and investigations (basically blood test) to rule out any cause that can be responsible - like thyroid, sugar and so on.
Weight is like bank account. The account grows when you withdraw less (Cut down unnecessary physical work) and you deposit more (eat more). For short term, eat AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE / AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE . HIGH CALORIE food / Sweets and snacks in between. Fatty foods add lot of calorie - one gram of fat (oil) has 8 calorie compared to Carbohydrate having only 4 calories / not good for the long term!. You should see a good DIETICIAN - One generally needs SEVERAL sessions, to master concepts of calories, nutritional values, biological value, vitamins, minerals and so on.
Any exercise is is good / to the point of strain, it stimulates muscle to grow...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
