Excessive Bleeding, Hysterectomy Surgery Done On Lupron Injections. Healing Time?
Good evening, I have fibroids and excessive bleeding. My doctor scheduled Lupron injections for 3 months prior to hysterectomy surgery to stop the bledding. I received the first injection on the 16 th, my period started on the 24th..I'm currently still bleeding..It was my understanding my periods suppose to stop after the Lupron injection?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. After the Lupron injections the bleeding during your periods will gradually decrease. It takes at least six weeks for the injections to show a proper effect.
