Discomfort When About To Urinate, Numb And Tingly Thigh, Spreading. What Could Be This?

Hi,
I have a few symptoms of something, a few days ago I started having discomfort when im about to urinate, the discomfort disappears as soon as flow commences but comes back if i try to stop mid flow. Im not urinating any more than usual also.
About a day after that happened my left thigh started to go numb and tingly and this numbness and tinglyness seems to be spreading up and down the left side of my body, my foot now feels slightly numb and above my hip bone. It almost feels like a rash when i touch any part of it, but there are no visible signs. The numbness isn't so bad as to prevent me walking though yet, its just an odd sensation and i feel the urination problem has caused the numbness some how.

Sorry to hear about your problem.

Your symptoms can be explained by two conditions. It could either be an urinary tract infection, for which you need to get your urine examined and take the necessary antibiotics.

The pain and numbness can also be explained by a urinary stone, which causes such symptoms. This can be diagnosed using an X-ray KUB or an ultrasound. Treatment of this stone will depend on the size and location.

Hoping for the best.
