Thanks for posting your query.

From the information you have provided,

Your placenta is in the normal position, your cervix is also normal.

The amniotic fluid ( around the baby) is less .
Normally its 10-15. 8 is slightly lower.

This can be due to less fluid produced or loss of fluid.

We need to check whether you are losing fluid from the vagina.
The other reason could be growth problem in the baby .

From the values you have provided ,its difficult to comment on the growth.
We have to plot the values on a growth chart and repeat another scan in 2 weeks to see the interval growth.

Also we need to monitor your blood pressure as high blood pressure can cause this problem.

All the best, Hope I have cleared your doubts!
Please, do not hesitate to contact me for further queries.

General & Family Physician Dr. Nsah Bernard's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for posting,

Everything seems to be quite normal as all of the measured parameters are seem to be normal and correspond to fetal age. The fetus' heart rate is within normal range (i.e no signs of fetal distress). The placenta is inserted in the right position and no signs of abruption or previa. Amniotic fluid is also border line and you will need to increase your fluid intake in order to prevent olihydramniosis.
Conclusively, I feel your baby is doing quite well.

Hope this helps
