Diagnosed With Strep Throat. On Amoxicillin And Reactin For Allergies. Safe To Take Benylin Cough Syrup?
Hello I was diagnosed with strep throat today so I am on Amoxicillan and want to take Benylin tonight for my cough to sleep but the bottle says to consult a doctor before taking it if I am on an antihistamine. I am currently on Reactin for dog and environmental allergies so is it not safe to also take Benylin cough syrup? Thank you

it is better to take montelucast 10 mg bd with bronchodilator syp instead of benelyn as you are already on antihistamines
