Diabetic, Severe Leg Pain. Taking Gabapentin, Vicodin. Any Other Medication For Pain Relief?

I have type II diabetes; and am having severe leg pain in both legs. No pins and needles type; only pain. I had a heart catherization yesterday and everything looked good, no blockage. I am presently taking Gabapentin 600mg for the pain but I need to take at least 3 pills a day and mostly and night I take a Vicodin 500 to go with it. Anything different I can take or do?

Thanks for query on HCM.
Pin like pain indicates development of peripheral neuritis.
It usually occurs in diabetes.
Continue your current medicines.
You have to start therapeutic dose of b12 and folic acid even also go for complete course of intramuscular b12,foloc acid .
Calcium, minerals and other vitamins supplements will be helpful.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
