My husband had a procedure done on his kidneys then they had to put a stent in. Several days after they took the stent out he wasn t feeling very good he was on antibiotics for the first 4 days after they took the stent out and we had sex. A few days later he was running a fever and couldn t barely pee. So he went in and they had to cath him and he had it in for a little more than a week. We found out he had a UTI with inflamed prostate and his urine tested positive for MRSA. We have had sex one more time after he had the cath taken out. What are the chances of spreading the mrsa to me?
there is possiblity but if you dont have any symptoms then you dont have to be worried.MRSA can cause only contamination without infection and is seen in people with open wounds or immunocompromised. Wish you good health. Regards
