Could Loose Motion And Intermittent Fever A Sign Of Diarrhea?

Dear doctor,

I am suffering from loose motions overnight. Two days ago I had taken Dolo 650 (paracetamol) and Alerid for severe cold, body ache and fever. Now I am passing loose motions several times during sleeping also. Fever is intermittent. I am not interested in taking food.

I am planning to go to a Government Hospital today? Is it a sign of diarrhoea? Help.

Hi,
You are suffering from diarrhea. Your symptoms of body ache and fever would suggest you have an infection. This is affecting your bowels.
Continue taking paracetamol and drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. These symptoms are likely to improve over the next few days.
I hope you feel better soon.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinget
