Cough, Shortness Of Breath, Chest X Ray Shows Density In Right Hilum Or A Mass. Should I Be Worried?

Hello my husband recently had a chest x ray after having a cough, shortness of breath. The doctor gave him 7 days of antibiotics. When the x rays came back it read he had density in the right hilum or a mass. Should we be worried? The doc ordered another x ray in 6 weeks.

HI WELCOME TO HCM
I dont think you need to worry about any thing.your husband might had a pneumonia initially for which he was prescribed anti biotics.
normally xray clearing occurs after 6 weeks only so your doctor advised to get an xray after 6 weeks if it is not resolved by then we can go for further evaluation
witj warm regards
