Cough, Hoarse Voice, No Cold. Trying To Quit Smoking. Is This Normal?

Hi I am 20 years old I have been smoking since I was 16 I just recently quit smoking cigs 10 days ago I have this cough. I know it's not a cold cause I have almost no pain my throat dosent hurt. Coughing up white stuff and I can't talk at all when I wake up and thru the day my voice is hoarse is this normal should I see my doc?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having bronchitis giving this problem.
Take some cough suppressant syrup to get relief from cough.
Do deep breathing exercise.
Do not start smoking.
Gradually you will be alright.
Ok and take care.
