Cause For Discharge Continuously Along With Clots?

Hi I have been on Rigevidon for a month now and have had a significant amount of brown discharge and a few blood clots everyday since. I started taking the pill because I wanted to have sex and I can't even have sex now due to the discharge and it's really getting me down. Thank you

Hello,

Irregular bleeding is common side effect of Rigevdon and usually this is self limiting. It happens due to hormonal imbalance and increased vulnerability of uterus wall. Take iron supplements. If there will be worsening it would be good to do gynecology ultrasound to rule out possible ovarian cyst or uterus fibroids. If it resolves spontaneously then you can continue with contraceptive pills as usual.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
