Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

Tri-Sprintec contains 2 hormones: a progestin and an estrogen. This combination of hormones is used to prevent pregnancy. This medication may interact with other medication like Tamoxifen, Rifampin, Carbamazepine but do not interfere with vitamin B6, multivitamins or ginkgo biloba. Anyway, I suggest to discuss with your treating physician before you start taking every other medication at the same time with your birth control pills.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
