What Causes Vertigo After Waking Up, Lying Down And Looking Up Or Down?

Good evening Doctor, I am 58 years old. I have been suffering from vertigo for the last one month. My ENT doctor has washed out the wax deoisted in my ears by syringing water. Under his advice I have undergone X-Ray of the cervical bone. It reports that there is slight degeration of cervical column. I feel vertigo when I wake up in the morining (not all days), when I lie on my right side in bed and also when I look downwards or look upwards. Presently I am taking 1. Betahistine tablets 16 mg Thrice daily + Ginkgo biloba tabs 80 mg Twice daily + Methylcobalamin 1500mcgm Once daily. PLEASE ADVISE ME.
