Brownish Pink Spot On Inside Of Wrist, Painful. Cause?

A strange spot appeared on the inside of my wrist . It is located in the crease between my wrist and palm right in the center on my left arm . It was just there when I woke. I have RA and so it is difficult to notice if it bothers me. My wrists are pretty painful today. The spot is kinda brownish pink. It is bigger than a dot but not quite as big as a dime and there is only one. Any ideas?
