Brown Discharge For A Week 10 Days After Periods. Heavy Headed, Tired Eyes. Have PCO, Unsuccessful Efforts To Conceive. Any Ideas?
Hi, I had my periods from May 10 to 16. After 10 - 12 days I started noticing a brown discharge which lasted for 5-6 days. For the last few days I have been feeling very heavy headed and my eyes look and feel very tired. Went to the Doc (Internal Medicine) and he asked me to take Buscopan for 7 days. I'm still feeling the same. I have PCOS and haven't been successful in becoming pregnant for the past 4 years. I don't know what to make of it........Sneha
Brown vaginal discharges are not normal and when particularly occurring after menses most often than not are an indication of a pelvic infection.
Pelvic infections could are favored by menstrual blood since blood is a rich culture medium for bacteria. It could also be favored by unprotected sexual intercourse with unsafe partners. Pelvic infections can as well be a cause of difficulty in conceiving.
You should meet a gynecologist for detail examination, investigations and follow up.
Hope this helps you Best regards Dr Achuo
