Always Had Unprotected Sex And Never Been Pregnant. Still Not On Periods. What Could It Be?

Hi I'm rather worried as I'm suppose to be on my period but I only have blood when wiping, but now there's nothing no blood at all, I'm currently having unprotected sex with my partner, but as I have always had unprotected sex and never been pregnant I always thought I couldn't get pregnant. I usually have really bad back pains, cramping and havey bleeding with my period but nothing this month, I'm always regular and should have come on the 25th. I don't know what to think please help.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you have regular periods then it is definitely possible that you may have conceived.

The other causes of delayed period are : high prolactin level, high level of thyroid hormone, emotional or physical stress, inadequate diet, excess physical activity, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).

You may want to consider a home pregnancy test. These tests check the level of HCG hormone , in the early stages it may be low but it rises as the pregnancy progresses.
If the initial test is negative and the period is still delayed consider either a blood HCG level (this can detect the hormone at lower levels than the urine pregnancy tests) or waiting an additional 7 to 10 days before repeating the home pregnancy test.

I hope this helps
