Question: I'm 25 years old, 16 and a half stone, 5'4. I haven't had a period for 4 months, this isn't rare for me as I've been irregular for years so it's nothing out of the norm. Last month I did experience some cramping pain but no blood so I did a pregnancy test (2 of them) and it came back negative. I have experienced some pelvic pain which has stopped but very recently I'm now expericing pain on my buttocks, as if it's on the bone mainly on my left buttock and tailbone . can you please help?

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question carefully and understand your concern.

Firstly:

Missed periods for 4 months, and since you've also mentioned that it's used to be for more, is not the first time, you should see a Gynecologist because it may have relation with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome).

PCOS is the most common reason for missed periods in women with high body weight.

Hence you may need to do:
Transvaginal scan to see your reproductive organs
Hormonal blood test (FSH, LH, Prolactin) and some other tests that may be suggested your doctor after the clinical examination

Secondly :
Pain on your buttocks and mainly on your left buttock and tailbone can be due to any trauma, high weight or any inflammatory process.
But the exact reason can be determined by doing a proper exam by an orthopedist and by doing an X-ray of the affected area.

Hope I have been helpful and please feel free for further discussion.

Best regards
