Question: im 24 years old, 107lbs.Height: 5'3
I got my period when i was 9 years old( about 100lbs at that time)
I've always had painful periods when i was younger, periods lasting a week to 2 weeks, then 3-5 days always irregular with vomiting, severe cramps that kept me out of school.
Ive had one child, when i was 19, c-section because my sons heart rate kept dropping due to a lack of amniotic fluid. I tried Mirena soon after the pregnancy and had to have it taken out due to complications, tried the Depo and discontinued after a few months. I was advised not to take the pill due to a reaction my twin had to the BC pills. Therefore, I am not on BC at the moment, its been over 3 years. In 2012 i was told i had fibroids but that they were very small.
For the past 8 months, my period went from 5-7 days, to 3 days. It would start at the beginning of each month, then the middle and now it comes at the end of each month. The first day I have brown spotting, the second day i am going through a super tampon with a super pad every half hours. Im not able to attend class or go to work. The third day, it's back to spotting. Ive also had excruciating pain during these periods where i feel my bowel movements and its painful to relieve myself due to the pain in my abdomen. When i explained to my doctor, and after a painful pelvic exam, he suggested that i may have endometriosis and that my cesarean scar may be attached to my uterus. Usually the painful bowel movements etc go away after my period has ended but this month, ive had constant bloating and pain in my pelvic area accompanied by nasuea. My period began Oct 22-24 and I had the ultrasounds done on Oct 29th. I've done a TV ultrasound along with Transabdominal ultrasound . My results are as follows
Right ovary 3.86 x 4.28 x 1.96cm
Left ovary 2.62 x 2.03 x 1.65cm
Uterus 8.35 x 5.78 x 4.62cm
Endometrium 1.02 cm
Anteverted uterus is normal in size and shape with a heterogeneous echotexture
the endometrium appears with a hyperechoic area measuring 0.7 x 0.9 x 0.6 cm with some vascularity noted, consistent with the appearance of an endometrial polyp. The right ovary appears normal in size and shape with a follicle and the left ovary appears normal in size and shape.
There is no free fluid in the cul de sac
CLINICAL CORRELATION IS RECOMMENDED
The doctor scheduled me for a hysteroscopy and D&C and says that I should be okay once the operation has been completed. Is it possible for me to have endometrial cancer ? I just lost an Aunt this week from this and I'm a bit worried

Brief Answer:
CT scan of whole abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Since you are having constant bloating and pain in your pelvic area accompanied by nausea and your ultrasound is showing a hyperechoic area with vascularity in the endometrial region i will advise you to do a CT scan of whole abdomen.

Endometrial cancer is a possibility and since you lost an aunt from this if any space occupying lesion is found in the endometrium in the scan urgent surgery is required.
