Brief Answer:
You have chances of pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about chances of pregnancy.

Following is my reply:

1) Your follicles are of good size. It is not clear which day of cycle you are on the day of scan.

2) You are on right medicines continue the same.

3) If you dont get pregnant, get husband's semen analysis done and HSG ( hysterosalpingogram ) for yourself. Thesea re basic tests to diagnose if there are nay problems.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Hello doctor. Thank you for the reply. The scan is done on 11th day of my cycle. I dont have thyroid or pcos problems but still given apcod-obis. Is this given as a precaution? I have been told to do this test for 5 days. So what should I expect from the 5 days test? Will follicles grow in size day by day? What may be the next step after the test? Will pregnancy happen naturally or via any treatment like IVF? So me and my husband should have the intercourse in these days?

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Maximum results after egg rupture

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

APCOD is given for PCOD by some doctors . It is not an allopathic medicine and not necessary to be taken.

Follicles grow in size daily. You can do it every alternate day and not 5 days at a stretch.

Once follicles reach 18mm or more, you will be asked to have sexual intercourse on the days when eggs are about to rupture. This increases chances of pregnancy.

Hello Doctor,

Thank you for the reply, Today I have got the follicular scan, this is my 13th day of period, The result is as follows: Endometrium - 10.01, Right ovary Follicle is 17*14, 17*14, Left Ovary Follicle : 22*16. And my doctor gave me HUCOG-5000 injection and told to report her after 2 days with same scan reports. She said me to report if i feel and lower abdominal pain after the injection. Will this injection help me getting pregnant? And should I get abdominal pain or should not get? Also I read somewhere that because of this injection there are chances of twins or triplets in pregnancy. Is this true? After this what shall be the next step I should be taking or waiting for? I am very much excited to know when I will get pregnant. Hope you will help me in understanding these.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Pain due to egg release

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

This injection is to release egg from dominant follicle in left ovary.

Chances of multiple pregnancy only when there are many dominant follicles. Since you have only one, there is no chance of twins or triplets.

Lower abdominal pain is expected due to egg release from follicle.

You have good chances of pregnancy this time. Have intercourse for 5 days starting tomorrow.

All the best.

Hello Doctor,

I got severe migraine on the day I got HCG shot. And next day got loose motions. Later I was OK. I got left side pelvic pain from the second day. I got my scan again on July 04, 2015 and it showed the egg with 22*16 in the left ovary got ruptured and right ovary 19*14, 19*14 follicle shown. And they also mentioned that there is some fluid collection in the left ovary of 3.8*3.2mm (not sure approximately). Will the left follicle also get ruptured and fertilized?

I am also advised to continue APCOD-OBIS, MCBM-69 and from July 6th daily night I am taking Susten SR 200. From July 6th I got sore nipples and pain, and body temperature is increasing. I still have lower abdominal pain in left as well as mild pain in the right.

We had the sexual intercourse from XXXXXXX 29th till July 5th. My question is, what is the fluid indicate, Do I have any problems in conceiving? Will the egg get fertilized? What day the fertilization, implantation happens? Will I get to know any symptoms of implantation? Fertilization? After how many days I have to check for pregnancy test? I am supposed to get periods on July 17th. Do I need to avoid some of the foods when planning to conceive? I don't drink or smoke and vegetarian. What are the foods which will help in conceiving.

Doctor has advised me to visit her on July 18th. I am eagerly waiting to hear some good news this month and fluid in the left ovary is a worry now. Doctor didn't tell anything about the fluid.

I have lot of questions in mind and unable to share with anybody. Hope you will answer all my queries and advise me.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Ovulation is good sign

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

1. Fluid in left ovary is after rupture of follicles. This is normal and does not create problem to conceive.

2. You stand good chance of pregnancy as the follicles have ruptured.

3. Fertilization happens within a day after rupture of follicle. Implantation with in 5 days of fertilization.

4. You can have any food. There are no food restrictions.

5.You can do pregnancy test on July 24th.

I hope your doubt is cleared.
