Question: Hello Doctor.

Please provide me expert opinion from healthcaremagic

I'm 34 yrs old male and for past 2 months I'm experiencing on and off fatigue (stays for some time and I get better later). When fatigue episode is there,
Eyes will have burning sensation, full of weakness and sometimes I experience pain in legs. For some days I had experienced vertigo as well, but it's subsided and don't have major signs of it the recent days.

Also, more imp. I have sleep issue and sleeplessness episode is running on and off for me for last 20-30 days ( I have this issue for last 10 years.)
When consulted Psychaitrist I'm advised with zapiz 1 mg and nexito. Thoguh I sleep with tablet, next day I feel body is weakened and I don't feel fresh.
I'm wondering the above fatigue issue is because of sleeplessness or anything else.

At same time, I am experiencing indigestion, acidity with bloating.

My question is does any of symptoms have connection with each other and what's going on inside. This issue is hampering my life quality.

When I consulted an Internal medicine doc about issue, he made me undergo series of tests including Diabetes, Blood Pressure Check, Complete Blood picture, Urine analysis.

Diabetes – FBS 106, PPBS 180, HBA1C 5.9
BP – Normal
Complete blood picture – Report attached
Urine analysis – Normal
Creatinine – Normal.
Thyroid - Little higher than normal.

Please advise me.

Brief Answer:
I think there is connection

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

From the available description I feel a diagnosis of anxiety and depression can be made and almost all the symptoms mentioned by you can be explained by the same disorder.

Presence of sleep disturbance, excessive fatigue, indigestion, acidity, bloating can present in persons with excessive stress as well as anxiety.

In my opinion Desvenlafaxine will be a better option than escitalopram (nexito) considering your symptom profile.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
