Question: Hello! I am 33 years old.I have no kids and i have one partner. For 4 years i gain 30kg,(i think it is from bad eating habits and stress). From 4 months i have vaginal yeast infection.I have normal menstruation,(with normal abdomen pain),but from 3 months between periods i had some brown spotting and when i wiped i saw some blood on toilet paper. This month i took FLagyl for 5 days.I didn't feel any side effects, just more severe yeast infection, but the day after i finished my last pill i had some bleeding(with brown discharge),lower back ache, groin ache(left side),hips aid....and bloody clots in urine.
All day yesterday i had this bleeding,in the beginning the color of the urine was red ,at the end of the day turns normal color with bloody clots. My last period was 16 days ago. What could can be?I am abroad and i am afraid ,because i am going back home after 2months. Thank you!

Brief Answer:
irregular bleeding can be due to hormonal imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hi,welcome to healthcare magic. I am here to help you.

The irregular bleed and clots that you see presently is most likely due to hormonal imbalance. In your case I would like to suggest you some investigations like thyroid profile and ultrasound of the pelvis as you have gained excess weight and have irregular bleeding.

Secondly for your yeast infection after consultation with your doctor start tab fluconazole 150 mg once weekly for 3 weeks for both partners. Till then use a condom during intercourse. You may also need candid vaginal pessary for 6 nights.

Hope this helped.
