What Causes Severe Fever And Cough When Diagnosed With Pulmonary Tuberculosis?

Question: I have diagnosed for pulmonary tb in right upper lobe.I have started combination of four antibiotics from last 23 days.But still I feel fever after evening around 100 and cough also.I want to ask how much time will fever and cough take to settle down.

Tuberculosis is a chronic infection. Usual course of treatment is for at least 6-8 months.
Usual time for recovery in fever, cough is 45-60 days.
So you need to wait for 1 more month for recovery in fever and cough.
In tuberculosis, most important point is treatment according to weight.
If you are not taking anti tubercular drugs according to the weight, you may land up in delayed recovery (in case of under dosing) and side effects (in case of over dosing).

Best and most efficient way to take anti tubercular drugs (rcinex, pzide, combutol) is take them together on empty stomach.
When you take all anti tubercular Drugs together, they give best action on tb bacteria and hence achieve maximum benefit.
Better not to take levofloxacin because it can produce drug resistance.
All symptoms of tb start improving after 45-60 days, including fever, cough, appetite, weight gain etc.
You should take paracetamol as and when required. No harm in it.
You should also take protein powder with milk for weight gain.

It is possible to have tuberculosis along with other bacterial infection.

In the morning time it is around 98.7 fahrenheit and after 7 pm it is around 99.4 and ending upto 99.7 fahrenheit to the night shall i consider it as fever can i join my service?.My urine colour is not normal and I can't say it dark yellow it is slightly reddish.Sometime I feel cramping after dinner but there is no nausea and vomiting feel.

See, hemoptysis is something which shows worsening of diseases most of the time.
So initially when I heard about hemoptysis with the background of tuberculosis, I though you might have worsening of tuberculosis. So I asked for chest x ray and sputum reports.
But when I saw your fresh chest x ray, it was improved as compare to previous x ray.
So no point of thinking about worsening of tb in your case. And hence no need for sputum culture and AFB.
Your hemoptysis might be due to friction bleeding from coughing.
Don't worry for temperature of 99.

Stool examination will tell you indirectly about lactose intolerance.
It is not confirmatory.
For confirmation, you need to get done lactose tolerance test. In this, oral lactose is administered and serum lactose is checked.
Honestly speaking, lactose intolerance is mostly seen from childhood.
So it is unlikely for you to develop this at your current age.
