Hello and welcome to HCM,
I can understand from your query that your husband is having cough, blood in cough, running nose and blood in stools.
Blood in cough can be due to trauma in the throat, tuberculosis, or cancer of the lung or upper aero-digestive tract.
Do you sputum production with the cough.
If yes, then the sputum should be examined microscopically to look for cancer cells.
Investigations for mycobacterium tuberculosis (bacteria causing tuberculosis) can also be performed on the sputum.
Both tuberculosis and cancer are associated with loss of appetite, weight loss and generalized weakness.
Besides sputum examination, a X-ray chest also needs to be done.
Blood in stools can also occur in number of conditions.
Ulcer at the anal verge, infection, rectal ulcer, irritable bowel disease. inflammatory bowel disease, mesenteric artery ischemia are some of the conditions which cause blood in stools.
A stool examination is required to look for evidence of infection .
A colonoscopy needs to be done to look for any ulcer, growth or any other lesion of the lower gastro-intestinal tract.

Thanks and take care
