Question: Please advise what this is. I have been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis.

In my opinion lesions as seen in photograph suggest folliculitis of scalp.It is infection of hair follicles. Excessive oil production can block glands and leads to folliculitis.

seborrheic dermatitis presents as scaly lesions over face, back ears and scalp.

Could the sevorrheic dernatitis be making this worse? I have seen a condition called dissecting cellulitis of the scalp. I am worried this will progress how can i tell the difference?
