How To Overcome My Acne And Skin Darkening Problem?

Hii.. My name is Madhu. I had severe Acne problem for which I had treatment which consisted clin3, saslic facewash, benzoyl peroxide. I used it for 3 years and more and then it was all gone. But later saslic facewash started darkening my skin so I stopped it and used other like himalaya oil control, dove, ponds, and using medimix currently. But with that I am still using clin3 gel only. My skin is getting darkened even now. Please suggest something. P.S - I have oily complexion.

Hi,

I would recommend you to use cetaphil cleansing lotion for oily skin twice daily, apply adapelene 0.1 percent gel on the pimples at night and use a broad spectrum sunscreen like Faceguard gel on the entire face during the day time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
