What Causes Rashes On The Leg, Migraines, Muscle Twitches And Numbness On The Arm After Taking Lamictal?
I ve been going through problems after problems this pass 6 months...I am on Lamictal and Vyvanse.I ve been on Vyvanse for quit a awhile and never had any problems with severe acne problem until now and left my face scared and gets painful.I break out in small rashes on my under leg below my butt but they are gone as quit as the come.I get severe migraines on the left side of my face to the back of my head,along with muscle twitches on that side of the face.And to come to think of it I also been dealing with my left arm felling asleep for days at a time and was told it was carpal tunnel,but that didn t start till after I was put on Lamictal at 100mg along with the other problems.Is Lamictal causing all these problems?

Lamictal has a number of uses and generally it is well tolerated by most. In about 10% of people there is a reported adverse reaction of that of a rash. Occasionally these rashes can be life-threatening but usually they are harmless but irritating to the patient. With regard to the numbness in the extremities this is also very likely caused by the Lamictal.
Typically patients that I have had that had this experience described it as "pin pricks" in the arms and legs. I have seem numerous people over the years with both of these complaints as a result of Lamictal, so I would surmise that is your cause.
