Brief Answer:
Hypothyroid can be managed in ayurveda

Detailed Answer:

Hai,

Thanks for consulting us.

In ayurveda, proper diagnosis will help in treating the disease.
Hypothyroidism can be managed depends upon the cause for the condition.

as there is no direct replacement of thyroxine hormone in ayurveda. we rule out the cause and channelize the gland to secret normally with help of internal medication, yoga, diet and lifestyle management.

I appreciate your concern. before advising you the treatment protocol i wish to know some details for proper guidance.

1. what are the current symptoms which you encounter in the daily routine?(like feeling tired, fatigue, weight gain, irregular periods etc)

2. Diet pattern/per day, (Weight and height)BMI, lifestyle,occupation?

3. do you practice yoga ?

4. any other medical history present and past?

5. Any history of stress/anxiety in past and present?

6. whether you are currently on both thyronorm and pathanjali products?

7.Kindly share your recent Thyroid Profile test valves(T3,T4,TSH etc) with units.so that i can analysis the values before treating.

Please get back to me with details.Let me know if there any clarification.

Regards
Dr.S.Senthilnathan

Brief Answer:
NEED EXCLUSIVE AYURVEDIC TREATMENT PROTOCOL

Detailed Answer:
Hai,
Thanks for your reply.
As your reason for high anti TPO level is because of auto immune thyroiditis.
As even though you are in treatment with thyronorm your problem is not resolving.
As coming to your problem your symptoms are similar with hypothyroidism.
As your BMI indicates you are overweight.

As in ayurveda autoimmune problems can be managed well.
Initially you need to follow proper lifestyle and proper medication.

Diet:
Prefer steamed food, dal and green gram, whole wheat, mixed millets , okra, bean, leafy vegetables, fruits and nuts.
Avoid canned and aerated drinks, fried and fatty foods.
Lifestyle:
Learn yoga. It will help a lot for your problem.
Proper sleep and timely food intake recommended.

Medication:
Guduchi choorna - 1 g twice a day. After food. Best proven medicine for autoimmune disorder.
Kaishoora guggulu- 1 tab twice a day, After food.
Tripala choorna-3 g with warm water, only at night, After food.
All the above problems should be addressed properly. It is not like treating symptoms separately. In ayurveda we will analyse symptoms and treat your whole problem with defined recommendation . So kindly follow it.
Start this medication and we will observe for one month.
As autoimmune problems need it's own time resolve possibly it will take 2 to 3 months to resolve. Patience is much needed with proper compliance of treatment protocol.
Hope I answered your query. Kindly get back to me if there any clarification.
