Brief Answer:
hypothyroidism is in most cases a life time prob

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr. XXXXXXX Hi! welcome to HCM. This is Dr XXXXXXX here. Hypothyroidism is an autoimmune condition, mostly a life time problem. Dose usually remains same once stabilized. Actually in hypothyroidism when we are replacing thyroxine , it is just replacement and not any repair mechanism for patients own thyroid gland. So the dose is almost stable and when we are checking TSH and FT4, we are checking the righteousness of the dose itself.
Just a humble recommendation, do take the tablet everyday, it has to be taken anyways, the important concern is to remain fit and healthy.
