Is Streptococcus Anginosus The Cause For My Dry Lips ?
my lips have been chapped for months its get gevry dry and creats like a scale or a scab whit the skin of my lip, a week ago a found out a have a bacteria name streptococcus Anginosus . Can that be the cause for my dry lips? Help me PLEASE.

Dry lips may not be the cause of s.Anginosus infection ,but if you have any such infection then start of with any antiboitic like roxithromycin or azithromycin .Along with this you should also use any good lip balm which has a moisturizing effect.

how did you find that you are having s.anginosus. was a culture done from your lip swab?
bacterial infection is not a cause of of dry and chapped lips usually. this culture finding may have been due to contamination. I suggest using vaseline 3-4 times daily and elocon cream once at night. tell me the results after 2 weeks of therapy.
