Most of the time swimmers ears is by bacterial infection (otitis externa) If there is not much response to antibiotic drops, you could try using antibiotic+steroid based ear drops. Sometimes there may be a fungal infection which will respond to antifungal ear drops. Donot try to clean the ear canal too much as you can damage the skin of ear canal making things worse. If still a problem ENT opinion
