Medication For Right Hip Joint Stiffness And Pain?
I am 31 years old.
Suffering with right hip joint stiffness and pain.
When consulted doctor, he diagnoised it as TB and suggested to be on AKT-4
I started AKT 4 on June 25th 2013. After staring this, i was suffering with Knee pain. when told the same thing to doctor, he said it is expected and asked to continue the same.
Continued AkT-4 till November 1st week - 2013 (nearly 4 and half months) and doctor suggested to continue with AKT 2 for few more months.
10 days after changing from AKT-4 to AKT-2, one day my position was worsened and i was finding it hard to keep a single step. In the nights it became worse.
Consulted doctor.. he suggested Right HIP MRI and all other normal blood tests (ESR, LFT,..)
All reports showed normal.
Doctor asked to continue the same treatment and suggested some pain killers.
Pain killers used to work for 10 to 14 hrs but the condition continued to be same for few more days.
Later the pain got reduced and was feeling bit ok..
from february 20-2014, doctor suggested to take AKT -2 in 2 days once and stop taking after 1 month ( by march 20th -2014 -- so it will be total 9 months on AKT -- from june 25th 2013 to March 20th -2014)
Now facing the worse time again after starting taing AKT-2 in 2 days once, not able to take a step, in nights and in the morning, situation i s becoming worse and taking the pain killer is not at all working.literally of no use.
Not able to understand the reason behind this or how to come out of this situation. Along with right hip stiffness and pain there are whole body pains also. Not able to sleep properly as i am not able to turn to get a convenient posture.
Please suggest if these are the side effects and if I can recover back to normal state.

I have full sympathy with your suffering.We usually prefer antitubercular drugs in bone and joint tuberculosis for a duration of 16 month's.You,will get over it, ineed to see the xray and MRI reports along with blood report.
