Experiencing Metallic Taste When Taking Chlorella. Any Suggestion?

Hi, I was recently taking 4-5 grams of chlorella (thin cell wall not cracked cell) daily for approximately 1 month. I stopped taking it about 2 weeks ago when I began to experience a metallic taste in my mouth which is continuing. When I began taking it I immediately felt energized, I gained mental clarity and improved digestion. However, I am now concerned about this metallic taste. Any suggestions? Thank you, Victoria

hi, in your query, its my opinion that is no side effect like metallic taste in your mouth, usually side effect of chlorella are; Chlorella is POSSIBLY SAFE when used short-term (up to 2 months). The most common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, gas (flatulence), green discoloration of the stools, and stomach cramping, especially in the first week of use.
Chlorella has caused serious allergic reactions, including asthma and other dangerous breathing problems.

thank you
