Rosacea On Face, Used Metronidazole Gel. How To Apply Metronidazole?

It is for Dr Raja Baby Dermatology consultant in Hyderabad, My mother has rosaceae on the face you have seen her may years ago and she used metronidazole gel to the face, it flairs up on and off. Could you please advice us what percentage of metronidazole gel she has to use for the face Could you also please e-mail us you clinic address in Hyderabad so that my mom can book an appointment

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

rosaceae is an inflammatory condition of face,

Mainly affecting the face,

The vessels get dilated and hence face become red.

She need treatment with topical anti inflammatory like metrogyl cream to be applied daily in night

Doxycycline is also helpful.

A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
