How Close To Osteoporosis Am I If The Lumbar Spine Is -2.5 In Bone Density Test?

Hello. Just got my dexa bone density results. The T score of the lumbar spine is -2.5. The T Score of the total is is -1. The T score of the femoral neck is -2.1. The BMD of the lumbar spine is osteopenia/osteoporosis. The BMD of the toal hip is compatible with borderline osteopenia. The BMD of the femoral neck is compatible with openia. How close to osteoporosis am I? I am guessing I should move into total prevention if this is the diagnosis. Is this correct? Thanks april
