Dear Sir/ madam
Thanks for writing to HCM.
Atrial septal aneurysm without a shunt is a benign entity for most of patients. It is never removed by surgery. Only in patients with repeated unexplained strokes, it may be considered as a culprit and anti-coagulation may be advised.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
