Have Enterovirus Infection, Fatigue, Nausea. Should Blood Testing Be Done?

default
Posted on Sat, 29 Sep 2012
Question: Hello, my daughter was diagnosed with entero virus about 3 weeks ago. She feels worst in the am, very fatigued with nausea. Should I take her back to MD and get blood testing done? I worry about the possibility of myocarditis. Thank you

Hello,

Though the symptoms are not typically suggestive of myocarditis, it won't harm to see her doctor.

So I would vote in favor of seeing doctor and getting investigations done if needed.

Hope this answers your question. Please ask if there are doubts.

Regards.
