What Causes High Sgpt Level?

hi, my sister is 29 years old, 5'2 and around 55 kls, she told me that her level of sgpt is quite high. what would be the best thing to do to normalize the level of sgpt? she had to undergo another medical examination after 2 days for working abroad, she needs to normalize her sgpt. what medicine should be taken? please help. thanks

thank you for posting query.

acute hepatitis presentation.

you should visit your treating physician as your suffering from acute hepatitis. usually the cause is not worrysome but better to exclude certain causes of hepatitis.
you need to be tested for "HBsAg", "Anti HCV" and if possible "anti HAV".
after the results of these test, further management maybe adviced.

HAV is a common cause of acute hepatitis and self limited.

meanwhile:
- abstinence from Alcohol
- LOW fat diet should be followed
- NO red meat
- vegetables should be ingested daily
- REST more, Less activities
- use lemon juice (lemonade) once in a day
- Uduliv or Liv52 maybe used after visiting a hepatologist and taking his advice

-"recheck liver enzymes after 4 to 6 weeks".
