Suggest Treatment For Foot, Knee, Elbow And Wrist Pain And Swelling
my son has been diagnosed with gout 3 weeks ago and is still having symptoms. he has foot pain and swelling, but also some knee and wrist and elbow pain. the only test he had was uric acid level a week later that was normal. he went to an urgent care when his symptoms first started but had no test done Dr just looked at his feet and said you have gout the test was done about a week later. is this gout?

Gout is related to high uric acid levels. I would also recommend performing other tests:
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR
- Total protein levels
- Complete blood count
- Kidney and liver function tests
- FR plasma levels
- ASO titer
It could be gout, but the above tests will help investigate on other issues.
