hello...i have been experiencing upper left quadrant abdominal pain that radiates around to my back. Also, a burning sensation across my back and a "presence" of something internal to the left side. Difficulty defacating (hx. of ibs)...stools produced are either formed and smell metallic, or diarrhea

I ve been having abdominal pain that s just recently sprung up. I have pain in my left shoulder and forearm, right in the middle of the upper quadrants of the abdomen, and what appears to be an indent in the upper right quadrant. I have also been having muscle pain in my legs but that is slight. I ve been through many tests and a pulmonologist is leaning towards asthma being my diagnosis, but I m not sure if that s the cause of the pain.

I have had 10 days duration of left upper quadrant searing pain radiating to epigastric region may occur immediately after eating or drinking ( I don not consume any alcoholic beverages not even added to food). The pain last for few seconds to less than 10 minutes. I may get the searing pain as often as one episode in an hour or several episodes in an hour. I have had 24 hour of intractable diarrhea and now have been constipated for almost 24 hours.

Over the course of the early morning till now I have been experiencing pain with sorness to my right upper quadrant close to the stomach just under the rib cage, with tenderness to palpation. The pain is mild to moderate, but enough to be a concern. I have also had a lot of serious gas in the last two days mostly yesterday and have taken simethicone with little relief. I have also had sudden urge, frequent foul-smelling stools today (semi-loose.) The hearburn is a killer and is not being helped regardless of the antacids used. No fever. Eyes are a little dull looking. I am over weight. Last gallbladder check was 2 years prior. Also my appetite has been down over the course of the last 2 weeks, and I have a history of peptic ulcers, and stomatitis, diverticulitis, and microscopic colitis. Occassionally if feels as if there is sort of a burning/tingling feeling above and around my navel. Any suggestions?
