Discolored Semen Tasted Like Vomit

Hi, my best friend was telling me about her ex-boyfriend. She said that at one time, when he ejaculated, it was a reddish color and it tasted like vomit. She came to me for answers, but the only honest opinion I could give to her is that she needed to tell that to her doctor to be on the safe side and get checked in case he had anything. What would cause that?

What you have suggested is fine. Ask her to go in for STD screening tests too. Her boyfreind too should be examined and tested for STD's as redish semen is not normal. He might be having infection in urethra too.
