There should be no abnormalities to your sugar levels caused by this as you received almost no insulin into your system. Your symptoms should be investigated for other causes and not entire tied to this accident. If the needle had been used before on your mom, get tested for diseases that can be possibly transmitted through blood. if it were not the case, then stay calm in this regard. I hope this helps.
