Hi,

Ziprasidone hydrochloride, is usually effective in relieving the symptoms of schizophrenia as well as isolated symptoms of mania or mania associated with depressive feature (Bipolar disorder). In your case, as the diagnosis of schizophrenia with bipolar disorder has been made by your doctor, so you should be relieved of the symptoms with this drug.

As hearing voices (audio-hallucinations) are features of schizophrenia, the drug should be effective against these symptoms. However, the effectivity may differ patient to patient, and also, the dosage required may vary for each patient ranging from 20 mg to 80 mg in each patient. Therefore, to evaluate your effectiveness and dosage, your doctor is the best judge.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
