Would Prevacid Help Rather Than Prilosec For Stomach Ulcer Without Having Side Effects Of Dizziness And Diarrhea?

I ve been prescribed PPIs for a stomach ulcer. Prilosec gave me some seriously bad reactions (flu-like symptoms, severe dizziness and confusion, diarrhea, horrible nausea, waking up at night with chills/sweating) I m just wondering if Prevacid will treat me any differently? I ve been prescribed it as an alternative, and would rather not go through all that again.

Hi...it will have a lesser reaction...may be nil...you can give it a try...if intolerable reactions occur...switch to sucralfate suspensions...
